Jane and Gary’s Irish/Canadian Wedding

When Jane met Gary travelling, it was instant chemistry!  Eventually, Jane returned to Canada and Gary decided that home was where his heart is and emigrated to Canada to be with the lovely Jane!

They tied the knot this June at the beautiful De LaSalle historic Oakwoods mansion.  It was a hot sunny day and perfect for their outdoor wedding ceremony, followed by cocktails and passed hors d’oeurves in the garden and the blue room.

All of Gary’s clan arrived from Ireland to attend the festivities and the guests were treated to a “Canadiana” menu with nod’s to Ireland’s heritage – notably with the gorgeous green of the bridesmaids dresses and accents in the florals and decor.  Guests dined on beef tenderloin and Atlantic salmon, bison sliders, P.E.I. “smashed” potatoes and mini mac ‘n cheese.  Guest favours were “S’mores” Kits.  Table numbers were shots of well known subway station entrances in Toronto.

The late night station featured “Beaver Tails” served with whipped cream and strawberries!  Perfect for the guests who danced off their dinner  when the party went full swing!  Congratulations and best wishes to Jane and Gary!!
